Endrick given legendary farewell in final game for Palmeiras
Endrick played his last game for Palmeiras before joining Real Madrid in the early hours of Thursday morning, with the Brazilian club's fans unfurling a huge banner showing him holding the club's crest on his back. The tribute, befitting a legend, almost brought tears - again - to the eyes of a promising 17-year-old whose future projection explains such a farewell.

Palmeiras fans unfurled a banner in the stands of the Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo on Thursday, ahead of the Copa Libertadores match against San Lorenzo, to bid farewell to Endrick, who will join Real Madrid in July. ‘Ate Logo (See you later),’ read the banner in green letters on a white background and with the striker's image in the middle above the Brazilian club's crest.
Meanwhile, the rest of the fans waved white flags in honour of the 17-year-old striker. Endrick emerged from the tunnel with a serious, focused look on his face and waved shyly to the fans before the kick-off.
He will travel to the United States to join the Brazilian senior national team, with which he will play in the Copa America, to be held between 20th June and 14th July.
In July, he will travel to the Spanish capital for pre-season training with Real Madrid, where he will be joined by his compatriots Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes and Eder Militao.
