Brazilian Endrick became, at 18 years and 73 days, Real Madrid's youngest ever starter in the Champions League, surpassing Raul Gonzalez - 18 years and 78 days - and described his first start for Real Madrid as "very important" and "very difficult."
"When Ancelotti told me, it was an incredible feeling because I'm at the best club in the world. To play from the start of the season is very difficult and very important," he said on Movistar+.
"Very happy to play from the start, but not for the defeat. We are with our heads in the next game, we are focused on the next training session and I hope we can win," he added.
Endrick described the 1-0 defeat against Lille in the Champions League as "a very difficult game."
