England fulfil their mission to win in Athens
England beat Greece 3-0 in the Nations League Group B matchday 5 fixture on Thursday at the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens to continue progressing in the international competition.
It was an entertaining night for the Three Lions in Athens. Ollie Watkins broke the deadlock in the seventh minute to put England ahead while a Vlachodimos own goal extended the visitors' lead to give them more confidence. So much so that Curtis Jones added the third after receiving a fine pass from Gibbs-White. The Liverpool player netted a sensational back-heeled goal to seal his country's win.
