Erling Haaland has a contract with Manchester City until 2027 and, for the moment, is focused on the English team. But his latest statements have led many to assume he will leave for Real Madrid.
"I enjoy life together with my loved ones and I enjoy being here. I'm very happy with the people around me: the coach, the board... it's a good group of people and I'm very happy. If I say that, maybe there will be headlines, but you never know what the future holds, but I'm happy here," he said.
That he left the doors open has led the English press to link him with a possible move to La Liga. The front page of 'The Sun' speaks of a "flirtation" of the Norwegian striker and uses his words to back up his statement. "Haala Madrid," adds the British headline, which has no doubt that the team chaired by Florentino Perez will be his next destination.
'Daily Telegraph' also points to the 'Merengues'. "Haaland, open to Real change", headlines this other media. 'Mirror', for its part, speaks of "Erli alarm", although in this case does not name the Spanish giants.
'The Express', in line with the previous newspapers, assures that, with these words "Haaland opens the doors to Madrid" and adds that "he does not assure to remain long at Manchester City, although he is happy". Finally, 'Daily Star' explains that "Haaland is happy... for now".
