Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique spoke on Ousmane Demebele's stellar form as he attended a press conference earlier on Friday ahead of the Ligue 1 clash against Toulouse.
The former Barcelona head coach highlighted that the French striker's performances have flourished since he was dropped from the Champions League clash against Arsenal in October.
"The best thing I've done was not letting Ousmane play in London, that day everyone criticised me. It was, by far, the best decision I've taken this year but Dembele did the rest of the work."
At the time, Enrique explained that Dembele had "not respected nor complied with the obligations and requirements of the team", leading to him staying in France as the Gunners defeated PSG 2-0 at the Emirates.
While the Asturian boss' decision was then contested, it seems as though it was the right one. Dembele has since scored 23 goals in 28 games, becoming a crucial asset for his side with months left until the end of the season.
