With a sense of humour, Al-Ettifaq announced their new signing on Thursday in the shape of Demarai Gray, Everton's Jamaican striker.
Trained at Birmingham, the 27-year-old first rose to prominence at Leicester, taking part in the Foxes' Champions League campaign in the 2016/17 season.
After a brief, unsuccessful spell with Bayer Leverkusen, he joined Everton, scoring a remarkable 12 goals in 75 appearances for the Toffees.
For a fee of around €10 million, Gray has joined the Saudi Arabia side for the next four seasons, where he will be under Steven Gerrard's orders. There he will be joined by Jordan Henderson and Moussa Dembele, two former Premier League players.
