Dele Alli wants a new opportunity. The Englishman, who has been missing in recent years, faces the last days of the transfer window with the hope of finding a destination that will allow him to shine as he did in his early days at Tottenham.
After London, he had spells at Everton and Besiktas, where his contract expired. That prompted him to offer himself to the market less than a fortnight ago and it seems that the proposition has had an effect. Everton are to offer him a trial.
According to 'The Guardian', the Toffees have scheduled a closed-door session to determine the fitness of the one-time England international, who is hoping to relaunch his career at the age of 28.
The fact that he is out of contract prevents him from even training with the Under-21 squad to test his fitness. He is still recovering from a persistent groin injury. Everton have therefore scheduled a series of exercises to determine whether he is fit enough to return to Goodison Park.
