Arne Slot, the Feyenoord coach who confirmed Friday he would be leading Liverpool from next season, is known as a passionate leader who gets the most out of his player and demands a strong work ethic.
However, he will have to defend his decisions and his personality at the helm of the Reds as they are "always expected to win", former England manager Rafael Benitez warned him.
"No matter what you think you know, you have to learn quickly what it means to be the Liverpool manager. Every game you are expected to win;" he told 'The Telegraph'. "It is important to adapt, but also to stick to those principles and ideas you believe in.
"My biggest advice to him or to any manager is he must be himself while understanding the culture of the club and the city he is coming to work. Once he understands that, he has made a positive first step and he will be guided down the right path," he concluded.
