Former Tottenham player Ivan Perisic is set to join Dutch team PSV, signing a short-term deal with the club, which will see him stay until June 2025, as reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The player has been available in the transfer market as a free agent after his brief return to boyhood club Hajduk Split.
The Croatian veteran spent six months at Hajduk Split - counting 14 appearences for the club in the 2023/24 season - after a two year spell in the Premier League with Spurs. With a long career in top European teams - Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund, Wolfsburg, Inter Milan - the 35-year-old will now look to strengthen PSV, who were able to capitalise on his availability in the market.
This will be Perisic's first experience in the Eredivise, however, it will see him make a comeback in the Champions Leauge after two years. PSV's upcoming fixture see them facing Fortuna Sittard and Willem II, both away, in the league, followed by the crucial clash against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions league, where Perisic will aim to make an impact.
