Fabrizio Romano couldn't reveal Samu signing, says Porto president

Fabrizio Romano has become a reference in the transfer market. At least for the fans, who find out about their clubs' next moves. However, the renowned Italian journalist can't keep up with everyone.
Porto president Andre Vilas Boas spoke about the transfer of Samu Omorodion as the Portuguese club's new No.9 for the current season.
"It was a special deal for us that, together with Atletico, we managed to keep secret. Fabrizio Romano didn't know anything about this deal. Otherwise, we would not have had the opportunity to do it," Vilas Boas told Trento Sports Festival.
"It was a transfer done in one week and the reality is that the player is scoring a lot of goals, showing all the talent he has. We thank Atletico for their silence and respect in these negotiations," Vilas Boas said of his new forward.
