Manchester United signed Sofyan Amrabat on loan as part of a hat-trick of arrivals at Old Trafford in the hectic final hours before Friday's transfer deadline.
The Red Devils left it late to get a deal done for midfielder Amrabat that will see one of the stars of Morocco's run to the World Cup semi-finals join from Fiorentina for a 10 million euro loan fee with the option to buy for a further 25 million euros next year.
Amrabat was joined by Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce and Spanish left-back Sergio Reguilon, who was with Spurs, in joining the Red Devils on deadline day.
The Moroccan star will have to adapt to the Premier League and his new team. Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand urged the midfielder to "have common sense" and took a dig at him on the 'Vibe with Five' podcast.
"All players need to adapt, and if he can do that quickly, I think he'll be fine. The game is quicker than Serie A, definitely," he said.
"He's an international footballer who played well on the international scene so hopefully he's got the common sense and concentration to be able to make sure he's right."
