In a statement on their website, FIFA announced they are opening an investigation into the Argentinian players' celebrations after the World Cup final against France.
Football's chief organisation have started to look into "possible breaches of several clauses of code of conduct", related to fair play and the bad conduct of certain players.
"FIFA's Disciplinary Commission have opened proceedings against the Argentinian Football Association for possible infractions of Articles 11 (Sportsmanlike behaviour and infringements of clean game) and 12 (Unnecessary conduct of players and managerial staff) of FIFA's Disciplinary Code, as well as Article 44 of the World Cup Relgamentation during the final between Argentina and France", the organisation put out.
FIFA will analyse the Argentina players' behaviour, especially Emiliano Martinez', who did a controversial gesture with the Golden Glove trophy, and then was heard chanting against Kylian Mbappe in the dressing room.
For now, nothing has been officially confirmed, but what is certain is that the Argentina national side could receive a fine for what happened.
