FIFA guarantees Spain will host the 2030 World Cup

Reassurance is the feeling that has taken hold at the Spanish Sports Council regarding the 2030 World Cup. There were fears that the scandals at the Spanish Football Federation would interfere with the awarding of the 2030 World Cup to the Moroccan bid. However, this will not be the case.
According to 'COPE', the president of the CSD Jose Manuel Uribes and the general secretary of FIFA Mattias Grafsrom met on Thursday. They have been in permanent contact since the latest events related to the RFEF, which could affect the organisation of the tournament, something that FIFA has ruled out.
In fact, Spain is guaranteed not only its presence as host of the World Cup, but also the leading role it was given from minute one. The football governing body has assured the CSD that more than half of the matches will be played on Spanish soil.
What has not emerged is any information about the final. Morocco has been pushing for the title decider for some time now, taking advantage of the instability in the RFEF. So much so that it is going to build a stadium for that purpose, the El Mansouria, whose construction will begin in 2025.
For the time being, Spain is still at the top of the list for the cup to be decided on its territory, although there is no official or unofficial version of this.
