Flick admits Barcelona need an experienced goalkeeper

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick believes that forward Robert Lewandowski is "the best No.9" of the last decade. "For me, he is the best No.9 in the last decade. His job is to play in front of goal and score, and he is doing that," he told reporters.
"He has players around him who can assist him and in front of goal he is fantastic," the German coach commented. Flick, who was taking on Getafe for the first time since his arrival at Barcelona, said he had been told by the club that normally games against the Madrid outfit are "very even".
"In the first half we combined and made some good passes, but they were able to close down spaces. All in all, we fought throughout the game with a fantastic mentality. And I'm happy with the fans because they responded when we needed them," he said.
Despite acknowledging that Getafe "could have scored" in stoppage time, Flick claimed that his side also had clear chances to extend the lead through Eric Garcia and Raphinha, and concluded that Barcelona "deserved the win".
When asked about the possible signing of Polish goalkeeper Szczesny to cover for Ter Stegen's long injury lay-off, the German assured that he only talks about his players and stressed that he is "very happy" with Inaki Pena.
"Inaki is our first-choice goalkeeper and he is only 25 years old. The other goalkeepers are very young and we need experience in case something happens to him. We'll see what happens," he added.
