Barcelona's German coach Hansi Flick was delighted with his side's 4-1 win over Sevilla and said he was "very happy with the final minutes".
"I am very happy with our performance. Especially in the second half, when we fought with a man down to get the three points. In the first half we played well and so did Sevilla. In the second half we changed a few things. We played with more rhythm, faster. The 1-2 was very important for us. After the red card, we defended very well in a 4-4-1 formation," said Flick, who praised his side's performance.
He explained that "on the wings, they had fast players and the team knew how to contain it: I am really happy with those final minutes", he underlined. Regarding the injury to Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo, he commented that "we'll have to wait until Monday to see what he has", but "it doesn't seem to be serious".
On the 1-2 play, he did not hide the fact that "Fermín's goal is very important: he is a player with a lot of intensity and these things happen (the red card) and it is also a good lesson for him and it will help him for the future, he was sad"; and on the fight at the top of the table, he stressed that "in La Liga there are three, four, five very good teams".
The German was full of praise for Pedri again: "He's incredible. He's good on the ball, he's quick and he helps us in possession, especially to get out of pressure. I'm very happy with him". "I've given the team three days off to rest, they deserve it. The important thing is that they don't do stupid things and focus on their recovery."
