Real Madrid beat Al Ahly 1-4 in the second semi-final of the Club World Cup. Real Madrid qualified for the final thanks to goals from Vinicius, Valverde, Rodrygo and Arribas in stoppage time. On Saturday they will take on Al Hilal.
The surprise was in the youth academy player's goal, as he came on in the 97th minute (eight minutes had been added on) and with the first ball he touched, sent the ball into the back of the net to score his first goal with the first team. All this in just 28 seconds on the clock.
All his teammates went to congratulate him after the goal and then the messages of support continued in the dressing room. The physical trainer, Pintus, came up to him and said "One ball, one ball", alluding to what he needed to score.
Then, president Florentino Perez arrived, who greeted the player affectionately and told him: "You only need one minute to score a goal". Arribas was very happy with his goal and for going through to the final.
