Former Man Utd goalkeeper Van der Sar in the ICU due toto cerebral hemorrhage

Ajax delivered some bad news to their fans via social media. Edwin van der Sar, the 52-year-old former CEO, has suffered a brain hemorrhage and is hospitalized.
"On Friday, Edwin van der Sar has had a bleeding around his brain. He’s currently in hospital in the intensive care unit and is in a stable condition," Ajax said. The club promised to give further details on his condition when it has further news. The Dutch club also wished him all the strength to fight this battle. "Everyone at Ajax wishes Edwin a speedy recovery," the club added. And finally, a message to his former player: "We’re thinking of you".

The goalkeeper started his career at Ajax in the 90s. He stayed there until the summer of 1999, when he moved to Juventus for 2 seasons. He then played for Fulham and from 2005 to 2010 he played for United, where he retired at the age of 40.​
