Former Man Utd man Greenwood wants investigation into Bellingham for calling him a 'rapist' dropped

During Getafe's last match against Real Madrid, controversial footage emerged in which it was alleged that 'merengue' midfielder Jude Bellingham called Mason Greewood 'rapist'.
After the match an investigation was opened by the Competition Committee to ascertain and confirm the facts by La Liga's expert investigators. Former Manchester United player Greenwood reportedly wants the investigation to be dropped and wants to focus exclusively on football and playing.
“Mason has told them he doesn’t want Jude to be punished and has asked them to drop it. He doesn’t want bad publicity and wants to get on with playing football. He was very upset at the time as he didn’t expect it from someone like Jude. But he knows he’s always likely to be a target for that kind of stuff so he’s accepted he’ll need a thick skin,” citó una fuente al periodico 'The Sun'.
The English winger does not want to take his focus away from football and even less so with publicity of this kind, as this season he is enjoying a great spell in which he is a key player for Getafe, for whom he has featured in 25 games, contributing with 6 goals and providing 5 assists.
