Bayer Leverkusen's season could culminate in a treble. Xabi Alonso's project is proving very successful but the summer transfer window will bring a wave of unwanted departures, such as that of Jeremie Frimpong.
According to 'Bild', the Dutch winger wants to leave the BayArena in the summer window. A decision he will be able to make as long as a top club pays the 40 million euros of his buyout clause.
A figure that was agreed in his contract after his renewal until 30 June 2028. A move that is very much in keeping with German football, where Bayer Leverkusen will be attracting all the attention in the coming months.
Despite the rumours circulating, no single candidate shines brightest in terms of possible destinations for Jeremie Frimpong but Premier League clubs have maintained a notable interest in his services for months now.
