Fabrizio Romano claims that Fulham, who are once again trying to make the transfer market as interesting as last summer's, have reached an €8 million deal with Villarreal for Jorge Cuenca. Twenty per cent will go to Barcelona, who reserved this right years ago.

Last year Fulham were one of the most active teams in the transfer window. They brought in Calvin Bassey, Raul Jimenez, Timothy Castagne and Adama Traore among others.
Unfortunately for their colourful ownership, the team failed to finish higher than 13th in the Premier League, but at least they managed to secure a comfortable relegation spot, which was the Cottagers' main objective. This summer transfer window is also expected to be busy.
Fabrizio Romano claims that Craven Cottage club have agreed a deal with Villarreal for Jorge Cuenca. The payment will be 6.5 million euros plus 1.5 million euros in easy-to-fulfil variables.
The 20% of this transfer will land in the coffers of Barcelona, who sold the defender to the 'Groguets' a few years ago. The player is now set to live the first experience of his career in the British elite, which is considered one of the most attractive in the world.
