Gabriel Jesus played out wide in Arsenal's draw against Manchester City last weekend in the Premier League. The Brazilian spoke to the media and assured that he is ready to play wherever Arteta sees fit to help the team. “The way I am, I try everything I can to help my team. It doesn’t matter where I play, I always try to do my best,” said Gabriel Jesus.
“I did it (against Manchester City). I was very deep, normally I am not that deep, but I had to play as the winger. I think I help my team playing like this. And then also, when we there (in attack), I created some chances. I could do a little bit better, but football is like this sometimes,” added the Brazilian striker.
Arsenal are in second place in the table two points behind Liverpool and one point ahead of Manchester City, so a win in the next round could put them back in the top spot, even if only temporarily. The Gunners host Luton on Wednesday in the next league fixture, and Jesus said the best of the season is yet to come.
“This is the most beautiful part of the season, you try everything to win titles. It’s the Premier League, it’s a tough league and anything can happen. It is only two points the difference (with Liverpool) and then we have a very good goal difference. Everything counts at the end, but there are still a lot of games,” he concluded.
