It was a tough first half for Liverpool, who went into the break on 0-1, as they were faced with a fearless Brighton at Anfield. The Reds found themselves trailing just after 14 minutes of play as Kadioglu's strike was too angled for Keheller to reach. Slot's men gave it their best in the second-half, coming up with chances left and right, as the Seagull's tactic was clear: cage themselves into defence and see out the win. But Hurzeler's men fell down at the 69th minute, as Cody Gakpo's cross turned into a shot as it went past goalkeeper Verbruggen, who expected Nunez to make impact with it. Mo Salah completed the comeback just three minutes later, sending a rocket into the top corner of the goal where it was impossible to reach. With the win, Liverpool claim back the lead of the Premier League, sitting with 25 points after geting their 8th win from 10 matches.
