Man Utd player Alejandro Garnacho was not called-up by Lionel Scaloni for the World Cup in Qatar but the striker showed his support for the Argentina national team. There were rumours that the player could end up playing for 'La Roja', as he has Spanish nationality. The Man Utd footballer made clear his feelings towards the 'Albiceleste' with a Messi photo on his social media.

The Argentina national team have created a common feeling around this World Cup that this was Leo Messi's tournament and Alejando Garnacho, despite not being called-up, has joined the movement.
The Manchester United player uploaded a photo of the PSG footballer after Argentina qualified for the semi-finals. Garnacho posted a picture on Instagram of the former Barca player celebrating the 2-0 lead.
It is not the first time that Garnacho has shown his admiration for Leo Messi on his social media. When he met him at a training camp, he posted a photograph with the Argentina star.
The United winger was called-up for the final two games of the South American World Cup qualifiers but he did not make his debut. There were rumours that he opted for the Spanish national team. This was accompanied by a 'like' to a tweet that exclaimed: "They didn't call up Garnacho because he's Spanish".
