Germany suffer another injury blow as the national team announced that left-back David Raum will miss the upcoming Nations League matches against Bosnia on Friday and the Netherlands on Monday. The official statement was released on Tuesday by the German Football Federation (DFB)
"David Raum left the team early today due to an ankle injury and will miss the two upcoming international matches. Get well soon, David! National coach Julian Nagelsmann named Robin Gosens to replace him," reads the statement.
As a result, RB Leipzig's Raum joins Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala, Arsenal's Kai Havertz and Eintracht Frankfurt's Robin Koch in the list of players unavailable to Nagllesmann in this round of the international break due to fitness concerns. Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and Niklas Fullkrug are also part of the list, with injuries suffered earlier in the season.
To fill in for the players mentioned in the list, the Germany boss has included the following players as replacements: Salzburg's Jannis Blaswich, Borussia Monchengladbach striker Tim Kleindienst, Stuttgart forward Jamie Leweling, Jonathan Burkardt from Mainz 05, midfielder Kevin Schade from Brentford, and lastly Fiorentina's Robin Gosens.
