Globe Soccer Awards Player of the Year nominees

The list of the 30 nominees for the award of Player of the Year at the Globe Soccer Awards, to be presented at a ceremony in Dubai on 19 January, has been announced. Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham and Kyllian Mbappe all feature in a list that will soon be reduced before the verdict.
Al Nassr's Portuguese and Inter Miami's Argentinian are also in the race for the 'fans' favourite' award, alongside Bellingham, Haaland, Kane, Lewandowski, Mbappe, Messi, Neymar, Salah and Vinicius Jr.
The list of female players of the year has also been announced. Aitana Bonmati, who recently won the Ballon d'Or, tops the list, which also includes Bright, Caicedo, Carmona, Daly, Debinha, Diani, Earps, González, Guijarro, Hasegawa, Ilestedt, Kerr, Leon, Oshoala, Paralluelo, Popp, Renard, Rolfo and Stanway.
The Globe Soccer Awards are organised by the European Club Association (ECA) and the European Players' Agents Association (EFAA).
