It was billed as one of the games of the matchday, with Man City fighting for the title why Everton are battling for the complete opposite at the other end of the table.
After an even inital period, it was Guardiola's men who found the lead before the break. Ilkay Gundogan opened the flood gates for the visitors by touching down a pin-point Mahrez cross before intricately hooking the ball into Pickford's net.
Just a matter of seconds later, it was that man again Erling Haaland who found the net. The Norwegian rose the highest in the box to get on the end of a devilsh cross, slapping it past the Everton keeper.
It's the dream start for Guardiola's men while condemning Everton to yet more suffering. Let's see if the visitors can hold this lead out or whether Dyche's side have a comeback in them.
