GOAL: Diaz rifles home opener for Reds at Stamford Bridge

Liverpool have picked up where they left off last season. In the most highly anticipated clash of the opening weekend, the Reds travelled to Stamford Bridge to meet Chelsea in their league opener and took the lead right on the 20 minute mark.
In a game of equal possession and pressure, the visitors found the breakthrough when Mo Salah got the ball on the right wing and brought it down to the box. He fed a perfectly weighted through ball into the box, where Luis Diaz made no mistake.
The Colombian raced in behind Chelsea's back line and slid to meet the ball, shooting it low past Blues keeper Robert Sanchez at the far post.
The two sides have been battling over Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, and although Liverpool seem to have the lead in the match, Chelsea are out in front with regards to the Ecuadorian, who blocked a move to Anfield, preferring to join the Blues.
