After racing into a two goal lead at Goodison Park thanks to goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Erling Haaland, Guardiola was still not left satisfied.
The visitors came out for the second half all guns blazing, and were soon granted their first real chance of the second period.
After City were fouled in a dangerous position on the edge of the box, it was Ilkay Gundogan who was standing over it. The German star didn't need a second bite of the cherry, as he curled a peach of a shot right into the top corner.
