Despite a two goal deficit, Barcelona kept pushing and they were rewarded for their efforts. A low cross swung in by sub Ferran Torres was met by the rising head of Polish international Lewandowski, who put the ball in the back of the net.
The goals came almost on the 90 minute mark and the fourth official indicated an extra 5 minutes of injury time for Barcelona to try and make a miracle.
The goal takes Lewandowski up to 22 this season, cementing him as La Liga's top scorer this season, pulling away from second place Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema who sits on 17.
No matter the result of this match Barcelona will be presented with the trophy tonight but a win here is crucial for Real Sociedad's Champions League hopes next season.
