Donny van de Beek is back on track. The 26-year-old missed most of last season due to a knee injury but showed his potential in Tuesday's friendly against Olympique Lyonnais.
The Red Devils are taking on the French side at Murrayfield Stadium for the second game of pre-season. The first half was very tight as it ended in a goalless draw but everything changed at the start of the second half.
Kobbie Mainoo and Antony were replaced by Donny van de Beek and Daniel Gore, who plays for Manchester United's academy, at half-time. The 18-year-old crossed from the left flank and found the Dutchman with space.
The Dutch midfielder opened the scoring in the 49th minute with a superb volley from inside the box. Lopes was unable to stop his shot and the English side are leading the match at the moment.
