Barcelona midfielder Pedri returned to training with his teammates on Monday and could play in Sunday's El Clasico against Real Madrid. The 20-year-old injured his right thigh in the first leg of the Europa League tie against Manchester United.
The Spanish player did not complete the full training session but did train with his teammates. Xavi could count on two key players for the upcoming matches: Robert Lewandowski and Pedri.
Barcelona's top priority is now El Clasico. Ousmane Dembele will not be available for the La Liga clash and will be out of action for another week.
Xavi Hernandez had Julian Araujo, who plays for the academy, for Monday's training session. Angel Alarcon, Unai Hernandez and Dani Rodriguez also trained with the first team.
The Catalan manager has given the players two days off after Monday's training and they will not train again until Thursday.
