Jack Grealish is having an incredible season with Manchester City, and the English side are just a few wins away from winning a historic treble consisting of the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League.
The ex-Aston Villa manspoke to the 'Daily Mail' to revisit some of the Sky Blues' season, as well as talking about the UCL semi the side has got against Real Madrid coming up, the remake of 2022: "I was very depressed (last season when City got knocked out by Madrid). We're now back in the same situation as last season. Once again against Real Madrid, and three matches away from winning the trophy. I've never been as confident or believed as much in my teammates before a match than at the moment, before going to the Bernabeu".
The side's main man this season, however, has undoubtedly been Erling Haaland, who comes off the back of beating the record for the most amount of goals in a Premier League season: "Everyone is different no? Look at Erling. He's the best professional I have ever seen. His mindset is something you won’t see again. He does everything. Recovers. In the gym. Ten hours of treatment a day. Ice baths. Diet. That’s why he is what he is. But I swear I couldn’t be like that".
"We have a great friendship but he will point at me after a game and say, “Hey, don’t you go out tonight partying”. I just tell him to shut up and go and sit in his ice bath. But that’s us. Two different people doing well in our own way. I am not as successful as him. He has scored more goals this season than I have in my whole career"!
