Marseille fans have a new idol. Mason Greenwood, who is already in the city to finalise his signing for the French side. The footballer, accompanied by his wife and son, landed late Wednesday night at the airport and received a great welcome.
A good number of OM fans were waiting for him at the exit of the terminal to chant in favour of the Briton. The account ‘MercatOM’ echoed a ‘TikTok’ video of Nabil de Marseille, in which the fans chanted Greenwood's name countless times. The attacker, impressed with the reception, reciprocated the affection with a thumbs-up and several salutes.
