Mason Greenwood has Manchester United's forgiveness, but the dressing room does not want him back. So his next destination could be far from the top flight.
'The Athletic', through anonymous sources, revealed why the rest of the squad does not want the British player back. Apparently, the attacker's personality is incompatible with any dressing room.
One example was his continuous criticism of Cristiano Ronaldo when the Portuguese was at Real Madrid. "He's dead," said sources quoted by the well-known media outlet.
As if that wasn't enough, people who worked alongside Greenwood had a clear insight into the British footballer's poor treatment of Manchester United's youth players who were starting to appear for the first team.
"He knew he was a good player and he had no problem telling some young player that he was a sh*t in his face. When you hear that, you think, 'He can't be talking like that,'" he said.
The well-known English newspaper added that such insults were very common to his youth team-mates when they failed to impress him on the pitch.
