Andres Guardado, Real Betis player and member of the Mexican national football team, came out in defence of Argentina's star player Leo Messi after Canelo Alvarez threatened him for offending and disrespecting the Latin American nation.
"I know what kind of person Leo is. Maybe Canelo Alvarez doesn't know what goes on in a locker room. It seems nonsense to me. Messi has had many nice things, not just with me. What has been generated is to sell something or generate controversy. It's not important," the 'Little Prince' told 'TyC Sports'.
The midfielder admitted that he was the one who exchanged shirts with the Argentina star. In addition, the player admitted that the 'Albiceleste' shirt ended up on the ground also to help the work of the kitmans.
"I have had the fortune and the privilege to play against Messi for many years in Spain and to experience moments like those of my son," added the Real Betis player.
