Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been named Premier League Manager of the Season after winning his fourth consecutive title on Sunday.
The Spaniard beat Arsenal's Mikel Arteta, Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola, Aston Villa's Unai Emery and Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp in the voting.
"I would like to share this award, especially with Mikel Arteta, for the incredible job he did until the last game, pushing us to the limit," Guardiola said.
"I would also like to remember Klopp, for the unforgettable battles we have experienced over the years and Unai Emery, for achieving something incredible like taking Aston Villa to the Champions League. And Andoni Iraola, with Bournemouth, for what he has done in his first season in the Premier League," he added.
"It is an honor to be able to win this trophy. We will defend this award as best we can in the future," assured the Santpedor coach, who won this title for the fifth time after also achieving it in the 2017-18, 2018-19, 2020-21 and 2022-23 seasons. He is the second most prolific manager in history behind only Alex Ferguson, who won the trophy 11 times with United.
