In a postponed matchday 12 clash, Manchester City beat Arsenal 1-3 away from home and regained the Premier League top spot with 51 points, levelled with the Gunners, but having played one more.
Bukayo Saka, from the penalty spot, scored for Arteta's men, while Kevin De Bruyne, Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland converted for the Citizens, who didn't have a good game, but turned up when it matted, getting the win.
Pep Guardiola's side weren't comfortable at any point in the match. As is not normal in any game, the Sky Blues gave away possession, so much so that the Catalan boss registered his worst record in the Premier League in terms of keeping the ball.
According to the Premier League statistics, during the game vs Arsenal, City only had 34.6% of the ball. It was a figure much further below what Guardiola's men have become accustomed to, characterised for their good team play during almost all the 90 minutes.
Thanks to this surprising statistic, the Mancunian side left their previous worst of 37.2% behind them, which was in the game against Brighton two seasons ago, which came during Guardiola's worst spell in charge.
