The Norwegian's return to action is just around the corner. Erling Haaland returned to training with his teammates on Monday after being sidelined for more than a month with a foot injury.
The Manchester club announced on social media that the Norwegian took part in Monday's training session with his teammates, which is good news for manager Pep Guardiola.
The Sky Blues have managed to make up for his absence since he was injured against Aston Villa as Manchester City have gone nine games unbeaten, winning eight and drawing just one.
They have won games in both the Premier League and Champions League, the FA Cup and the Club World Cup, which they lifted to the title.
The English club's aim is to get Haaland back to full fitness so that he can return to the team as soon as possible. They want him to be available for the game against Burnley on 31 January or for the clash against Brentford on 5 February.
Little by little, Guardiola is getting his key players back as Haaland's absence was not the only important one. Kevin De Bruyne missed the early part of the season and returned against Newcastle in the Premier League, scoring and assisting.
