Erling Haaland is a doubt for Wednesday's clash with Arsenal after going off injured at half-time against Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Norwegian was suffering from a sore thigh for several minutes after a clash with Emiliano Martinez in the first half. Haaland, who failed to score for the third game in a row but did provide an assist, was replaced at half-time by Julian Alvarez.
"He has taken a big knock and was uncomfortable," Pep Guardiola said after the 3-1 win over Villa. "We didn't want to take any risks and we will test him in the next few days. Hopefully he will be ready for Wednesday, but we will see," the Spanish coach added.
Manchester City have the chance to go top of the Premier League on Wednesday if they can beat Arsenal at the Emirates. The Gunners, however, have a game in hand on City.
