With 31 goals scored in 29 games for Manchester City, Erling Haaland is performing better than expected in his first season in the Premier League.
This Wednesday, the Citizens are going up against table-toppers Arsenal, with just three points separating the two sides. Pep Guardiola's men have the rare chance to put themselves back in first place.
One of the London side's legends, Arsene Wenger, analysed the tremendous impact that the ex-Borussia Dortmund striker is having in the English league to 'BeINSport', as well as talking about his possible absence for the game.
"Saying that City are worse with Haaland is like swearing. Let's just say that Haaland makes Manchester City a different side. Now, with Haaland, they get the ball back a bit quicker and, when they win the ball, they go looking for him quicker", he said.
"Before, City had more patience when they had the ball, they changed up their positions, their passing was shorter and technically different. Now, they're focused on serving Haaland with more crosses or long passes", he explained.
Whether the Norwegian striker will play in the game is still unknown. The Catalan coach kept quiet when asked about it and didn't want to reveal anything about his availability for the game against the Gunners.
