Haaland makes history and reclaims City's lead against West Ham

Manchester City hosted West Ham at the Etihad Stadium to regain the Premier League top spot. Erling Haaland broke the record for the Premier League's top scorer in a season as his 35th goal secured victory for Guardiola's side.

Manchester City were looking to regain top spot in the Premier League while Moyes' side were trying to move away from the relegation zone. The first half of the match was difficult for both sides as Guardiola's side created several chances but West Ham managed to deny them. However, Nathan Ake managed to open the scoring in the 50th minute with a shot from inside the box. Furthermore, Erling Haaland made it two in the 70th minute. The 22-year-old has become the Premier League's top scorer in a season. Phil Foden sealed the victory in the 85th minute with a thunderbolt from the edge of the box. Manchester City regained top spot in the Premier League and moved one point clear of Arsenal.
