Many had high hopes of what Erling Haaland's first season in England was going to bring, but very few could have imagined it would have gone just as well as it has, with the Norwegian hitting the ground running, and that's an understatement.
The 22 year old, who arrived at the Citizens from Borussia Dortmund, has already won over fans' hearts after his mind-blowing stats. So far this term, he's found the net a staggering 51 times in 47 games, with 35 of those goals coming in just 32 Premier League games.
As a result of grabbing 35 goals in the English domestic top flight, this earned him the accolade of being the Premier League's all-time top goalscorer for one season, overtaking Andy Cole's previous record of 34.
The fact he broke this record in just 33 games instead of the previous record's 40 would have gone a long way to convince the powers that be to award him with the Premier League Player of the Month for April, recognising his historic achievements.
But that's not all. On Friday, the Norwegian also won the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year 2023 after he earned more than 80% of the votes. In response to both these awards, the striking viking cooly commented "Thank you! Busy morning"
