Striker Erling Haaland is on course to break all records. The Norwegian scored 52 goals for Manchester City last season and has already netted 29 goals this campaign.
Since his arrival at the Etihad Stadium, rumours about his future have been swirling. For many, the Norwegian's future undoubtedly lies in La Liga. According to 'Sport', the player is the first one to look at Spanish football.
Haaland is in love with Spain. He can be seen regularly travelling to different beaches in Spain and the same media outlet reports that he would like to settle in the country, although he does not set a date for this desire.
Haaland's father and advisor Alf-Inge has been on the market for some time to fulfil his son's dream of playing in La Liga. And although many see it more feasible that he ends up at Real Madrid, 'Sport' continues to place Barcelona as an option despite their problems with Financial Fair Play.
As of today, Barcelona cannot afford his transfer but president Joan Laporta believes the Norwegian's services could be a long-term investment. Haaland's father is in contact with the Catalan board.
Similarly, Alf-Inge is in talks with Real Madrid. The Santiago Bernabeu outfit could sign Mbappe this summer, although that would not prevent Haaland from joining Carlo Ancelotti's side at a later date.
At the moment, neither Madrid nor Barcelona are negotiating with Haaland, but contacts exist and the striker's desire is to join one of La Liga's big teams. Meanwhile, Manchester City remain oblivious to the rumours and hope that their star player decides to stay in the Premier League for as long as possible.
