Havertz close to joining Arsenal: reports

Kai Havertz could leave Chelsea after three seasons playing at Stamford Bridge as a host. The German has had few opportunities this season with the Blues and his transfer is almost closed.
Arsenal made a second, improved offer for the Chelsea playmaker, after having their initial offer rejected by their London rivals. According to several reports, Pochettino's side are very close to agreeing the new deal.
The German will be part of Mikel Arteta's future plans to lift the Premier League trophy next campaign. The 24-year-old will reinforce the midfield at the Emirates Stadium from the summer.
'The Athletic' reported that his new contract would be long-term and worth somewhere in the region of £210,000-a-week. Both the midfielder and Arsenal are keen for the transfer to be completed.
