Arne Slot said at the press conference ahead of the Premier League game against the Magpies that they are waiting for Alisson to recover 100% as Kelleher has been doing brilliantly lately and that they prefer to wait for the Brazilian goalkeeper to make his return at the end of December.

Alisson Becker has been sidelined since October with an hamstring injury that has caused him to miss nine games for Liverpool, in which he has not been missed because of Kelleher's stellar performances.
The Brazilian goalkeeper is said not to be fully recovered from the injury but could make his return before Christmas, although Arne Slot confirmed at the pre-match press conference ahead of the Premier League game against Newcastle that due to Kelleher's form he prefers to wait until the Brazilian is fully fit.
"I feel I always have a big decision to make in every line-up I make. It's always big decisions you have to make as manager of Liverpool because we have so many quality players.," he said.
"I think I was clear about our position in the goalkeepers a few weeks ago, but we are just waiting for the moment Alisson is completely fit because Kelleher is doing too well to put Alisson in goal if he is only 50%. He is getting there, it might take a few more days but he's getting closer and closer. He will be in goal before the end of December," he concluded.
