"Rasmus will play on Sunday against Liverpool and must go through the match well. That's what we expect. We are in contact with United. I have talked to Erik and we expect it to happen," Denmark manager Kasper Hjulmand said on Tuesday.
The Danish striker is suffering from a muscle injury, for which he has missed several of Manchester United's recent matches. However, he has reportedly recovered and could be available for his side's showdown against the Anfield outfit.
The 21-year-old was putting in superb performances in his latest contributions, scoring 13 goals and providing two assists since his arrival at Old Trafford. His injury was a huge blow for the Red Devils but he is likely to return to action in a crucial game for his team.
This is great news for manager Erik ten Hag and his teammates as Hojlund's availability would be a boost for the upcoming FA Cup quarter-final as they remain in contention to lift the trophy.
