"I can bring something different to the team"

Midfielder Aleix Garcia had his first training session with his new team, Bayer Leverkusen. The Catalan was under the orders of Xabi Alonso and worked alongside his new teammates.
After the end of the session, the former Girona player spoke to the German club's official media: "The feeling has been very positive. I hope to continue in the same line of winning titles that the club is currently on. I'm very happy to be joining one of the best teams in Europe. I'm ready to start with all the enthusiasm in the world.
On the other hand, he stated that he believes he can "bring something different to the team". He also explained that he wants to "contribute" his experience gained in the Spanish League and said that the football of the Spanish coach "is very similar" to the one he played with Michel.
Lastly, the Catalan footballer addressed the fans and declared that he arrives with "a lot of enthusiasm". Garcia also expressed that he is going to "give everything" for the badge, the city and the club.
