'I don't like my chant': Amorim on Man Utd fans' welcome

The Manchester United coach has quickly gained support from the fans for his energetic style and tactical approach. However, he has revealed that he is not particularly fond of the song dedicated to him, feeling it doesn't reflect his values.
"I don't like my chant. I feel a little bit, not embarrassed, but because I’m the coach, they have to chant for the players and for the club. So it's not a good thing for me," he told reporters.
Despite his reservations, Amorim has expressed his appreciation for the fans' passion and their efforts to welcome him. The manager is reportedly focused on strengthening his bond with the supporters through results on the pitch rather than personal tributes.
"I understand and really appreciate the connection with the supporters, but I want them to support the team and the players because they are on the pitch and I'm outside the pitch. But I am really honoured by that. I feel a connection with the supporters, but we know we need results to maintain that," he added.
While the Portuguese coach's response has sparked debate among the fanbase, his early success with the team continues to earn him widespread admiration.
