"I don't need any revenge against Barca"
Marcos Alonso, who left Barcelona last summer, will be Barca's opponent against Celta this weekend. The Spaniard holds no grudges and hopes to get a good result from the visit to the Azulgrana's stadium.

Celta defender Marcos Alonso said on Thursday that he has no desire for personal revenge ahead of this Saturday's clash against Barcelona, the club where he played the last two seasons and in which he hardly played any minutes last season (250 in La Liga and 140 in the Champions League).
"Revenge for nothing, I don't need any revenge. Last year I didn't have continuity, especially because of the injury, and now I'm enjoying football again. I'm very happy, I'm looking forward to the game, but not for revenge but because it's three important points," he said.
In front of the media, the Madrid left-back confirmed that his contract contains a clause allowing him to automatically renew it with Celta if he plays a certain number of games.
"It's true that there is a clause, but whether there is or not, I'm very happy here and surely it won't be a problem if everything continues like this and we all want me to continue", the player admitted.
"For me the important thing is to play, maybe it's not the position I've played the most during my career but I'm not going to complain about being on the pitch every week. You have to adapt, to be where the coach and the team needs you," he said.
The former Barcelona player made it clear that if he scores a goal against his former team, he will celebrate because "I've always done it when I've scored". However, the most important thing is that the three points stay in Vigo.
"We've shown in previous games against important opponents - Girona, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid - that we can compete against anyone, but we haven't achieved any good results. Now we have another chance to give the fans three important points," he said.
Marcos Alonso praised the team coached by German Hansi Flick because "they are doing a lot of things well", and said that the duel at Anoeta, where the Azulgranas conceded their second defeat in La Liga, can be a reference for Celta.
"Real Sociedad were an example of a team together, I don't know if they broke the record for running. That's the basis of our game: work and effort. The most important thing is to defend as a team, all together and play our game. The less they have the ball, the further they are away from our goal, the better", he warned.
