Carlo Ancelotti's future seems to be tied to Real Madrid, as long as the club want to keep him at the club beyond this season. At least, that is what the coach's words suggest.
Amid rumours that he would be heading to the Brazil bench at the end of the current season, Ancelotti confirmed on 'Rao Radio 1' that he intends to remain at the club.
"I have a contract until 30th June 2024 and I would like to honour it," the Argentine coach said of his future. Ancelotti spoke about the Brazilian Confederation rumours before the match against Valladolid at the beginning of April, but has now made it clear that his priority is to stay at Real Madrid.
Real Madrid's main goal is the Champions League title: "We believe we can win it, knowing that every game is a difficult, tough and unpredictable obstacle. All eight teams want to reach the final in Istanbul".
The Italian wants to fulfil the prediction he made to Paolo Maldini: "It was above all a wish for AC Milan, who I am very fond of. In fact, Milan-Naples will be a very even and very uncertain match. Would it be nice to meet again in Istanbul? For Real Madrid, yes, I think so too, but everyone wants to reach the final.
